Bridge to Kindergarten Class at GGLC

As of August 2020, God’s Grace Learning Center is introducing a new Bridge to Kindergarten Program!  This is intended for students with birthdays from June 2015- November 2015.  The public school system does not allow children under age 5 (before September 1st) to start Kindergarten.  This is also for students who may not quite be ready for Kindergarten for other reasons such as maturity, social skills, or developmental delay.

We will be teaching Kindergarten level of academics, including Math, Science, and Language Arts.  As a Christian based school, each child will also receive Bible curriculum and weekly Chapel and Music.  They will be taught that God’s word is our guideline to live out His love, forgiveness, and faith everyday.

Registration starts March 2nd for the general public.

This class will be taught by Mrs. Georgia Johnson, a degreed, certified teacher with over 20 years of experience in early education as well as administration.  We are so blessed to have her on our team to educate and nurture our precious little ones.  Registration fee will be $75 and weekly tuition will be $165/ week.  This will include extended care, breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack, field trips, and curriculum.

Sound like a lot for your little tot? Each activity is geared to your child's age and learning ability. We utilize "Growing in Grace" Bridge to Kinder curriculum to help young writers and readers take those first steps into literacy and enter kindergarten with a solid foundation on which to base their learning. Our Bridge classes still offer ample recess time, lunch and snacks throughout the day, and even nap time after lunch (for those who will still nap). And remember, our preschool center is open from 6am to 6:30pm for parent's convenient pickup and drop-off.

What Our Parents Say

"I have a hard time expressing how grateful I am for the ladies at GGLC. My children have been cared for so lovingly there. As an educator, I recognize and greatly appreciate the fact that the curriculum presented gave my kindergartener a jump-start on entering "big girl school". As a working mom, the sense of peace I've had knowing what capable, sweet hands my babies are in is without measure."

–Julie Medearis

"God’s Grace Learning Center is like a family for my children; our family has been a part of this daycare for 9 years now. My oldest started First Baptist when he was 8 weeks old. We were welcomed with open arms by the sweetest ladies who were so caring and loving. My daughter, who is six now, started First Baptist when she was nine weeks old. Both of my children cherish the memories from this childcare"

–Melissa Tobola, mother of 2

"I started sending my son the God’s Grace Learning Center when he was 15 months old. He loved playing with his firends there and the crafts and artwork he would bring home even as a young toddler. Now he is 2 1/2 and still loves art, but is learning all kinds of things like letters and numbers, days of the week, can identify all his colors, and even has concepts of months and other time elements, a"
